Predictions are one thing, facts are another. I'd rather get the first wrong unfortunately you get the latter wrong......frequently.
My wondering... The front line are the ones that create these chances, maybe the fear is we won’t create them, better to create 20 and hope one goes in than create none? I dunno, just trying to think why we don’t replace them all. Saying that we are not rich with talent.
Harrisons stats mean sod all if he ain't scoring or getting them decent crosses in. I think Harrison holds the highest percentage rate for players dribbling themselves. Like I said previously, I think Costa's been reading Harrison's book of dribbling, he was much better before he started doing that. FA are thinking of handing the corner flag a number cos Harrison keeps trying to dribble round it........Like I said, Harrison will never learn. Other teams only doing one thing better than us, converting their limited chances.........that's why they're beating us just lately, it's part of the game. One of their tactics is too obviously make full use of their limited chances and score, which we're not doing, and like you keep saying, Bielsa won't change.
You predicted Bamford would score next game, which was Wigan, or was it one of those recurring predictions until you get one right. What latters would that be then, please do elaborate.
There isn't "one going in" though is there. Its happened too often now. Like I said, if we change it around the absolute worst scenario is that we still carry on losing games, which is where we are at anyway. Or, it might improve and we might start winning games or at least scoring goals. We either choose to stagnate or choose to change it. At the moment we seem to be more stagnant every week.
No, it was Wigan, I was wrong. The rest I'll not get into with you, as talking to brick walls isn't enjoyable, and yes I know ...you'll see that as a victory because i haven't an answer for you....well done you are the font.
I agree, if it were me I’d make changes but I’m not a coach. Personally I’d never play Alioski at LB I’d be happy to try Costa wide left, I’d never play Dallas central, I’d drop Kiko, I’d drop Bamford. I’m saying these same players have given us some great football so what’s changed, it has to be confidence and pressure
We've not scored in 4 out of 5 and only beat millwall because they came to have a go instead of just defending.
Defending corners, I'd like to see us getting back to basics. Man defending on the far post. Defending in bulk Not letting our keeper to get surrounded by defenders. No pretty stuff, hacked away if necessary
We beat Millwall because they were knackered. I will give kudos to us for that game though. Tired or not, winning 3-2 after being 0-2 down isn't easy at any level.
He also has 22 successful crosses and he has created 56 chances and scored 5 goals that’s one goal every 505 minutes compared to Costa who has 7 successful crosses created 28 chances and scored 3 at a goal every 628 minutes
The thing about Costa if we can park the stats for just a minute is that he has pace and always takes his man on. Usually beats him too. That in itself attracts players to him which creates space for others to create. It's why I'd always pick Hernandez regardless of form. You can't leave him with space he is just too dangerous. I like Costa. It's not quite happened for him yet at Leeds but I can see what he brings. I'd still have no issue dropping him. I'm pretty straight forward. If you're not doing your job in the team then I will get someone who will.
Another good point chesh at this rate people are going to think I'm your 2nd account. I was just wondering how much employing bielsa will have cost the club when he tootles off in May. £6 million in wages for him and staff, fall out with jansson selling for £5 million (should have been 10-15 ) if he carries on with his I'm right your all wrong stance, no promotion again this season from a commanding position pre Cardiff . Another £150-200 million. An expensive experiment that could set us back another few years. I'm sure if we lose to forest next week and neither of the new signings make an appearance bielsa may be asked a few questions by rads.
I don’t dislike Costa anymore than anyone else but if he beats his man, what does he do with the ball? This season he has made just 7 successful crosses all season. His 28 chances are not bad but Harrison has made double the amount. It’s just my point that Costa is perceived by some to be better than he is because he has a bit of pace. Pablo has created 48 chances, our defensive midfielder Phillips has created 54 Klich 56 Oh and @LeedsLover Pablo and Phillips make the same amount of backward passes, Klich makes the most but don’t let facts get in the way
