I know js would have to pay a bit extra for carryin that excess weight onto easy jet , but i think instead of being on the end of a long punt which is no good for him , he should getting balls to his feet in the box where he can turn a defender and get a shot in . More often than not , not far away . May be wrong but just think jason scotland has a few more goals to offer the club with better service . Like wise priskin . I think any striker ie rooney etc wouldnt do much better with the wrong service . Shopra will turn out to be a class act at town , most goals poached but when required will put scotland or priskin through . Playing lone striker up front wont do next season tho . Thoughts .

I think Scotland's done OK. I think Priskin's had more than enough chances.

Scotland scored 10 goals and looked pretty average, but 10 goals in a poor season isn't too bad. He didn't feature much in patches during last season. I fancy him to be a very handy 3rd or 4th choice striker for us next season. Hopefully netting 10-15 goals maybe more. As for Priskin I think he needs to play for a slick passing team. Too much of a luxury player when we are in a scrap. clearly talented as it shows with his two loan moves to QPR and Swansea who clearly fancy him and they have some pretty handy players. Definitely could do a job depending on what sort of football we play next year

If Scotland gets his head down during pre-season i think he could still be prolific in this league along side Chopper!!!!

Scotland I thought was woeful last season - slow, fat, bad ball control and missed a large amount of sitters. This season, to be fair to the guy, he appears fitter, faster and has scored some impressive goals for us.
Priskin is a player that I think could be a star for us IF we played with wingers who could get to the byline and cross. He is an 18 yard box player and looked the part at previous clubs. Whether he can ever fit in here is up for debate but if we are not going to use him we should get shot. Pointless wasting decent cash paying him to do nothing

Dundee I've been saying this for the past 2 or so years now. I never thought that in the Keane era or to some extent when Jewell 1st came to the club that the biggest problem was our strikers. Despite alot of people including Keane himself saying we were just short of a 20 goal a season striker but IMO not even someone like Ageuro or Rooney would have scored many goals in our team the past couple of years because the problem has been in general a lack of quality, a lack of creativity and negative tactics. I thought we had actually decent strikers for this division the past couple of years, yes there are better but they weren't that bad. I think both Scotland and Priskin are pretty good players for this division and in Priskins case he has bags of potential but just needs to find a level of consistency, he reminds me a little bit of Counago although Counago was more of a off the front man striker where as Priskin is the front man, but both are luxury players who are so enfuriating because on their day if they play well they can influence the whole team and look too good for this division but if not they look pants and lazy!!!

I agree completely with this, the track record of strikers we bought (even Kevin Lisbie!) shows that we have had players who could score goals at this club, which can mean that our service must be the thing that is lacking.
