A black hole might suck us into the channel tunnel.

Would like to consolidate our status as a premiership team before thinking about Europe. Stoke and Birmingham just suffered big defeats this weekend after their Thursday jaunts in Europe and I know there's no proof that the european games effected the weekend games but we'd need a bigger and better squad to be in any way effective in Europe...and if we can't be effective then there's no point in being there (IMO). Plus it would also mean a lot more of our league games being played on a Sunday which I'm sure wouldn't be very popular.

Grove seriously, you should post more often. I've said it before that the more guys like you that post "controversial" stuff there is, the better for the Forum because it keeps it interesting. You've had two threads that have generated an enormous response. Throw in the fact you've just stated you don't like our most successful Manager in years and you could open up a hornets nest all of your own.

    Give it a lash Jack!!

I like Warnock North! I just think we're a couple of defeats away from the return of the C.O.L.I.N. :emoticon-0107-sweat and all the nastiness that goes with it. He's our best Manager since the early nineties. Legend.

(But I do like posters who churn it up a bit on here - Guilty as charged!)

It's like this - there is a bully at school who picks on the weedy kids, the specky kids, nicks dinner money from the tubby kids and thinks he can get away with it just because he is good at football. I don't doubt Warnock's ability as a manager but I don't like him. For me his previous record can't be mysteriously erased, was I the only one in the Loft the last time we played (and beat) Sheffield United that gave him verbals?

Same for Barton, he may well shine for us this season but I can't sweep his previous record under a carpet of convenience. Feel free to disagree, I am used to it now!

Very fair point Grove. But for the hypocrisy, I agree with everything our fans say about Nelly at the moment. Legend.

Oddball you said that before we signed the new boys on deadline day. Surely the team has improved immeasurably with that influx of quality and consequently our chances for the season? Yet your prediction remains the same?

    Quite Odd, Oddball...............

(You're trapped Odders, talk your way outta that one :emoticon-0109-kiss:)
