But isn't that about footballers playing with their head up rather running around like muppets. Quality footballers have vision and time because they make it. Harrison prime example spends his time looking at his boots. He could be a decent player if he just looked up on occasion.
Golf was decent, conditions very windy. It’s one of the few sports este that a 70 year old can compete with a 20 year old and the company is usually good
Golf is a stupid game...designed by stupid people to be played by stupid people. And I should know as I'm a stupid person...but not stupid enough to play in 40mph winds
Did the one brilliant dribble and left 2 on their arses when he hit the post, think part of the problem now, might be players are looking for players other than Bamford as they have lost confidence in him.
Yep but watch he didn't know where he was going Both him and Costa should produce more based on the amount of ball they receive, plus the quality of the final ball
To be fair it was very conjested in the Wigan penalty area most of the time...similar to last season, they kept defenders within the width of the goal and as a consequence give you a little more space on the outsides. That said, we should still have had much better delivery and end product as you say.
Not played for about 20 years, last time I played (rental clubs) I had a left hand set, picked up the wrong set half way around and started playing right handed, didn't realise till I watched my very confused m8 trying to use his clubs.(mine)
I bought my bats second hand, hardly used pristine condition in a bag 300€ some tees and balls and thats it. I do get my balls free as I live on a golf course, bottom of my garden produces everyday!
I write left handed, but my strongest arm is my right, which I use for most other thing, so it actually felt natural to me, but not my mate, he kept swapping all the clubs looking for one to use.
Going on a corporate jolly to Headingley tomorrow for the RL...apparently it's a double header FFS. Anyway as you can probably tell I'm not much of a fan of the northern game, so was wondering does anyone have any does and don'ts ??? So far I've got; Do...drink the bar dry as it's free. Don't...puke on the guys head who's invited you. Any advice appreciated
Was a ST holder for years at Headingley. Not in the posh bit though. You'll be fine. Nowt posh about RL folk! Just enjoy the beer and cheer the lads on. Don't really know what to expect this season. Dont be alarmed if there are away fans in the same stand or bars. Everyone gets on just fine!
Not been to a RL match since the 80's... Is the term 'up and under' still in the vernacular ? Probably end up sitting next to some legend of the game and not have a scooby who he is
You sure, was on a train coming back from Leeds once, and Warrington RL fans made a right mess of one Leeds fan because he came from Wigan, I was only about 15 at the time and these were men.
