It all falls down to the holyrood election doesn't it. The national election is a very poor metric to judge independence on, there's tons of issues at once on national level and the unionist vote is extremely divided. If the SNP cannot pull a majority, with Brexit happening, with the Labour Party's uselessness, without Ruth Davidson leading the Tory's then I'm afraid there's no desire for the SNP's referendum with the majority. If they get that majority I say let them have it ffs. Democracy motherfucker.
Yeah ****ing ace ! Went to hospital this morning without appointment, got seen to straight away . **** loads of extra docs and nurses.
Same here . Only had to wait 3 minutes for the Ambulance to turn up . They said " Which of the 40 shiny new hospitals would you like us to take you to ? " Incredible , not even 24 hours yet
Yep ! Same again next week ! Soon have all of the totally ace transport links also I think ! Building lots of Wooden ships along the Humber this week ! I'm going down there and going to help press gang all of the feckless bastards ! Invading Cadiz on Tuesday week !
****ing top notch mate ! Hanging all the foreign ****s from lamp posts next week in Hull . Pete's got an erection at the mere thought !
Well , I don't like the idea of hanging foreigners . But , if it has to happen , they will disposed off very quickly what with our vastly improved council services . Every cloud and all that !
Independence from the EU is a good thing. It's staggeringly difficult to manoeuvre and it faces far too many complicated regional issues across an entire continent that it must address. All while becoming increasingly difficult to reform. Apart from the shocking economic issues soon to come, there are so many small labour and import laws that only benefit a few select members who have very specific laws ie France. I was anti-EU as soon as the UKs veto was ignored regarding Greece and then when Cameron's reform proposal was completely ignored. In an ever changing world the EU doesn't want changes. It's redundant.
I used the term Greek veto lazily. It was more complex than that, I was referring to the EU treaty change that was caused by the Greek eurozone crisis. The UK argued that if the EU can have treaty change to fix their issues, then the UK can too. It was ignored and so the UK veto'd the act, which was ignored and then the following UK reform request was ignored. It left honestly very little choice for me, the UK could not remain.
Current pork pie regulations stipulate that 25% coagulated pig spunk is the legal minimum requirement.
It's a singularly English "delicacy". I really don't get the attraction tbh. Better with a Scotch pie any day of the week. Apart from Fridays if your a pape of course.
“You clearly mention membership rules when I was clearly saying we would have a good hand to play in negotiating a deal with the EU without joining it.” - lots of clearlys there while referring to something that wasn’t very clear So if you think Scotland should have a deal with the eu rather than join it the uk is doing exactly what you want, leaving the eu and negotiating a deal with it. So no need for an independence referendum, got it
What I think is not the point. The vast majority of people who voted in Scotland voted to remain in the EU. They have now been dragged out the EU against their will. Despite what you might think in your deluded little Englander heed Scotland is not a region of England. It is a entirely separate country whose people, under Scots law, are sovereign so yes and independence referendum is needed because whatever Brexit has proven it proven that this union is not and never will be a union of equals. As for the UK negotiating a trade deal with the UK! Did you not notice the utter cùnt the UK made of it's last stab at negotiations with the EU?
You keep on about the English, but it will be those very same English and many other Nationalities, that live in Scotland, that will be giving you your independence. While the born Scots actually living in England will not even get a say on their own country.
