I have to disagree, this was a team failure to-day, and the manager has not covered himself in glory, we just have to learn from it and move on, this is not the time for scapegoating.
Our lass has just brought me Salmon quiche saute potatoes and salad with a glass of Chardonnay, over it already,
It's a defeat against an in form team but not the end of the world as some would have it. We need a good response in our next game.
Lets remember they are unbeaten at home this season and are set piece masters, my concern is the PP had not prepared the team in this respect, but it has been a hectic week and this was a tough ask on the back of our game on Wednesday, I still think we will end up above Pompey this season. It was too easy for them to day, and they made the most of it, we move on.
Knew they would. Im observing but not participating. It was inevitable our unbeaten run would come to an end, a least it was against one of the better teams. We must get over it and move on. No point in getting upset about it HTL
5 fixtures left in February. All winnable imo. Loads of points to play for yet. Lets hope PP can get the new lads bedded in quickly and we recover from today which is hopefully just a blip.
We need to forget about this game, learn from it and move on. We've just had a 9 game unbeaten run with a good points haul, now we need to do the same. If we do, we'll be in the top 2 in nine games time and today will be forgotten.
Me too. It’s quite unbelievable reading some of the comments. We’ve been beaten by a better team on the day a decent team at that . Dust ourselves down and go again against Ipswich next week who according to some had the league won a month or so ago.
We were in the game until they got the second goal and even then if we had scored one, it would have made a huge difference to the game.
