I was responding to your own comments about having a strong hand when trying to not have to join the eurozone. Think you’re getting yourself confused.

    You’re so angry <laugh>

I do think fishing rights and quotas etc are important and I think they’ll be used as part of the negotiations with the EU over the next 11 months. I don’t however believe that in a world where Scotland leaves the UK and tries to join the EU that fishing rights will be enough to make the EU change it’s membership rules.

I don’t think you’ll get another independence referendum let alone vote to actually leave.

Loving the last line of your post, anyone would think you were English talking to the Scots! <laugh>

WTF are you talking about. This is your response to me saying we don't have to join the EU?

Fair enough if you think fish will make the EU change membership rules.

You clearly mention membership rules when I was clearly saying we would have a good hand to play in negotiating a deal with the EU without joining it.

It's not me that confused ya silly cùnt.

Facts, really! So 5 Scottish families own half of Scotlands sea fishing waters do they. They whole 200 nautical miles out is it?

    Are you sure?

Not what I said. I said 5 families own nearly half of your existing fishing rights and choose to trade them like commodities.

You think Scotland could get a trade deal with the EU whilst completely excluding the EU from its EEZ?

    Right oh.

Would Scotland have a refendum on EU membership it they were independent or would the SNP simply say it has to be?

Nicole has put all her eggs directly in the EU basket, but some Scots would surely want a vote on it?

    Yeah.

I personally don't think that England and Scotland need a union. It's old fashioned.

We can just have an open trade agreement, open investments, all the other stuff. I wouldn't even be against us all using the pound and it just being Britain's currency irrespective of being in a Union.

If Ireland wasn't a member of the EU they could also join but, as they are a member state they don't have that right.

IMO, Nicole doesn’t give a jot about the E.U. If Scotland had voted for Brexit and the rest of the UK to remain, she would have been arguing that should allow another independence vote. It’s independence at any cost for her.
