Aye, the first series of Eastbound and Down was shockingly bad. But the second is really funny, made a massive difference putting him in Mexico for a good chunk of it. My mate managed to convince me to give it a second go after he'd told me the first series was good. <ok>

I don't really trust my mate's judgement though. He watches Jersey Shore and thinks Trailer Park Boys is the funniest comedy of all time.

As like most shows I missed the rerun beginning of Breaking Bad. There's that many great shows on a the mo that I'll need to give BB a by for a few months. I'll probably buy BB as well as Sons of Anarchy. Does anyone know if SoA is a complete show or have they pulled the plug and left it in limbo?

I have most of these shows on my HDD, the only one I have yet to watch is Breaking Bad.

Let's face it UK tv is ****e, the Yanks make the best shows apart from Stargate which is tripe.

As far as I know SoA is pencilled in for a 3rd season.

ps The best show that ever got cancelled was "Firefly", brilliant but perhaps too clever for those dumb Yanks.

What about "Arrested Development" LJ? Absolutely amazing and most of the stars have gone onto movie careers. Still can't believe that Two and Half Men is on it's 7th series and is the highest rated comedy in America but AD got cancelled because of poor ratings.

<laugh> <laugh> That show was ****ing shocking <ok>

Eventually even Channel 5 put it on in the early hours. You know your show is rank rotten when it's got a **** time-slot on C5.
