Don't be silly My point is extremely valid, there is an overwhelming prospect of any perceived problem being solved. There are many examples of predicted problems caused by Brexit which have been just hot air, this is just another.
So what do the words Project Fear which YOU have used time and time again in your divisive postings have to do with this little discussion?? You can't expect so when you have day on day posted as you have...
The perceived problems with Brexit / importing players will probably end up in the same dustbin as the promised lack of toilet rolls / plague of locusts!!!! You will find common sense solves most problems.
Well all I know is that the FA want to restrict the numbers of overseas players in the squads but the Premier league have said no.. Now that probably isn't just down to Brexit - has been a long running debate.
Article in DT sport today reviewing the transfer window and it appears that we were the 4th biggest spender at £11.5m! They also report that we have acquired Teddy Perkins from Burnley at an undisclosed fee. He is an U23 defender.
Are you sure that those non EU players are exactly that - it is relatively easy for a South American player who has played in Spain to pick up a Spanish passport in addition to their own.
Not exactly pedantic Duggie, just a statement of fact. Quite a few of the South American players currently playing in the Premier League are there by virtue of the fact that they picked up Spanish or Portuguese passports in addition to their original one and had, due to European freedom of movement, no problems in coming to the Premiership.
The reason for my comment is you always seem to look for the dark cloud in the silver lining Whereas I am an optimist and look for the silver lining
