Our budget is about 65% of the budget of Barnsley, who have the second lowest budget in the Championship. Once you get above the bottom 6 or 7 budgets (most of which are between 200% and 500% of ours) all the others are many orders of magnitude larger. I kid you not.
Liverpool players always touch the 'This is Anfield' sign as they run onto the pitch, perhaps Harry is trying to start a new trend of Charlton supporters kissing Matt's head before games?

The value of the squad is closely tied to the budget. Surely it must be. I would expect that (with one or two minor variations perhaps) a league table of squad values and a league table of budgets would read pretty much the same. Nobody is going to convince me that Charlton did not have the smallest budget in the Championship back in August, as well as the smallest squad value.
Southall " Balls, we are fooked, his excellency has just arrived at The Valley. He says it's not worth £50K let alone £50M"
A very poor transfer window from Matt Southall. Under promise & over deliver. He did it the other way round. 3 loans yesterday, 2 of which nobody has heard of. Southall has it all to prove at Charlton. I can’t help feeling it’s Katrien Meire Mk 2 in a sharp suit.
