Don't remember the one you posted - but this one I do... On a personal note - I'll never forget their single "Tobacco Road". First time I left home - spent 2 months ('64 or '65 ?) working in the summer in Bridlington at Brown's amusements on the front. Worked on the dodgems. There was a jukebox in the cafe attached to the amusements ( beans-0n-toast at least twice a day I recall !) where said Tobacco Road was payed probably 50% of every punters 6d insert into the box ? One hell of a summer that was.
sounds like a great time to be alive. i have a 24-track best of by the nashville teens. i think i was born in the wrong decade - the 60s beats all others for music, but i only really get it in the rear view mirror (though i rarely take my eyes off that mirror). would haved loved to be around hearing that music when it came out.
I was a 13 year old when this was first released - (told this story before); our music teacher went out during his lunch hour and bought it; he played it during our double-period music lesson, this track and 'A Day In The Life' blew me away then and to this day make me stop and listen to the lyrics.
