while im jumping with joy at the propect of watching this exciting Qpr team there is something niggling at the back of my mind,Wot if it goes tits up, if we are dragged into a relegation battle and the worst happens, what happens to our club, massive wages, players wanting away owners tightening the belts.we could end up like portsmouth, not that i think our owners would walk away, wot i cant get out of my mind is Qpr going out of buisiness.18000crowds wont do and a new stadium will cost millions more. Now we are rumoured to be after Anelka (Cernyberry) on loan with a view to possibly signing and that going to cost plenty,i dont like the saying "enjoy it while you can" i want to enjoy Qpr for the rest of my life,
Having a bad day Peter? We are way better off than we were a month ago. And way, way better off than we ever dreamed we would be 5 years ago. Life with QPR has always been a roller coaster. If you want consistency and no no worries you may need to consider taking up crochet.
Peter, after all we've been through over the last 15 years we deserve to be enjoying our moment in the sun. We've been through the mire and come out the other side, now is our time,so don't let your fears get in the way of you enjoying what promises to be our greatest period in our history.I can fully understand your fears, but Tony and Amit are not the Goons, and have stated they will not be throwing millions around willy nilly. We needed to buy players to have a realistic chance of staying up,imperative in the long run,and i think we bought shrewdly.A new stadium is also a must,i'm sure this will be done over time and hopefully we will have a new home were all proud of.Under our new owners i honestly can't see us doing a Portsmouth, their far too astute,so my message to you is don't enjoy it while you can, enjoy it because we finally have the owners and the team we deserve.
There's nowte to worry about mate, we're here to stay. Read Bhatia's comments on the possibility of relegation on the other thread. We've proper owners now. Onwards and Upwards
I like both preferably in in a repetiive manner.... Remember Northies 'girls descending steps' signature!
