Brentford did sign a young Dutch kid for £2.5 M, scored on his debut in the cup. Huddersfield may have one of the best signings, Andy King knows where the goal is. Not envious of any signing for anyone else. Ours look great on paper, both out field one's look very exciting prospects, now we just have to see them.
Morning all... We’ve proved we have nobody to fear in this division, our blip is down to lack of converting chances, we’ve still outplayed everyone we have faced. It was up to the rest to catch us up and they haven’t done so, in fact our two signings look better on paper than anyone else’s. We wanted Rads to keep Bielsa, in turn Bielsa instructed Rads and Orta what he wanted in return and they delivered which included keeping Philips. Bielsa didn’t play Nketiah or Clarke enough and they returned but still Radz brought him in another two costly players this window. Costa, Pablo, Alioski, Harrison, Dallas, Davies, Shackleton, Douglas, Ayling... Seriously how many owners would have said you have enough wide players make them work... I don’t know how much money Radz has put in or hasn’t, I do know he has backed Bielsa with his wishes, I do know he has put the infrastructure in place and made us an attractive club again with interest from rich potential buyers and we have agents calling us saying their players want to join us. Augustin by all accounts is PL quality and even Man U were sniffing around, Poveda had some great offers but no, they wanted to come to us. A great transfer window, we shifted O’Kane, kept the Jewell’s brought in two decent players and looking at who the rest snapped up in January I wouldn’t take anyone in place of what we already have.

Morning all. I don't know any more about any of those signings than I do about ours so pointless for me to comment. Given the even nature of the division this year, one or two clever signings could tip things in anyones favour, hopefully us this time. Saw a report on O'Kane moving on an 18 month thing. The report called it an "arrangement with Leeds United". Don't ever remember seeing a transfer described as that before
Heres a question. Players were always insured against long term injuries, no idea if its still the same. If so, at what point can we claim for Forshaws wages or does a club have to wait until career is over

The only competitor's signing I envy is Ryan Woods to Millwall, he's a great player and bossed the midfield at Stoke, he'd be capable of doing the Phillips job if required with a little help from Bielsa. Few to come in today by all accounts though, Gayle to Forest being suggested, Nakhi Wells has gone to Bristols.
And Bristol have QPR tomorrow, that will be interesting, if he plays. Woods went off the boil for me at Stoke, looked disinterested, I've followed his career as he's from the same area as me. Excellent at Brentford, was lots of talk at the time of him going to Liverpool or Wilves, obviously neither happened. Certainly a talent but needs to get the desire back.
