This is a very sad day for me, I still can't believe it's happening. Every time I see people celebrating on TV it's like watching a bunch of old collonials celebrating beating the foreigners and toasting the Empire. This has put us back decades and all for the sake of a concept the Victorians would applaud. I don't want to argue about any of this, just wanted to get it off my chest.
Everyone’s entitled to an opinion mate. I voted to leave purely because we put an awful lot more into Europe than we take out. Le Pen is muttering about Frexit, Germany’s economy is fast going downhill and won’t be far behind us imo. These three countries put in around 90% of the money into the EU. I can see it disintegrating within the next five years. I think there will still be some kind of European alliance but with each country having to stand alone financially. We’ve got the fifth biggest economy in the world and I reckon we’ll be ok after the initial problems of leaving. Like yourself, not wanting to get into an argument with anyone, I’m no politician, just my own thoughts.
