More on Brownhill The midfielder has agreed a four-and-half-year contract, with an option of a further 12 months. Brownhill, who gets the No8 shirt for the Clarets, said: I’ve always wanted to get to the top. It’s been mine and my family’s goal ever since I played football as a kid. I’m thankful to Burnley for giving me that opportunity and I am going to take it. (we’re aware this picture may hurt)
Just saw it on the OS too, nothing about Wells yet , I’m not sure about this to be honest , whatever you think of Brownhill he’s been crucial to the way we play this season, even if we somehow manage to replace him it will take a while for the new man to fit in. Wells is a welcome addition if he comes , losing Josh I fear is too high a price to pay.
Was one of our better players.......Don't blame him for wanting to further his career......We now need quality in, we can't continue to sell off our better players and still hope to challenge in this league...That's a dig at the club and not LJ by the way!
A possible serious change to our shape and formation is always possible when you change the dynamics that make you tick. Good luck to Josh in his new home and I wish him a long stay at the top level, unlike some previous departures in recent years. The barrel has been well and truly shaken and it will be interesting to see how the changes in personnel (possibly more to come?) will affect our challenge to stay in the promotion chase. The month of February should show us the strength we need to end the season in a good place. It has now been confirmed on both ends of this deal on BCFC site and I have wondered the same as you onefor and time alone will tell the full story. Fingers crossed.

A good lad, and a great player. I really hope he kicks on and becomes a regular Premier League player. I don't think any City fan can begrudge him this opportunity, he was always given his all for this club and has continued to do so amid all the speculation, which is a great credit to him. I wonder if CoD will want to stay now? Him and Josh are big mates, it may change his thinking?
The very best of luck to you Josh, you have been a credit to Bristol City Football Club, our coach saw the talent you had brought you to our club and you justified his judgement, hope you go on and have a fantastic career in the top flight.
Not even on the bench yesterday Think he will struggle to get a first team spot. Still treble your wages good for the bank account.
