McCann seems to want to reduce the average age of the squad. Not necessarily a bad thing. I’m relatively happy with what he’s done so far, which includes identifying deadwood and weak points and trying/moving them on eg Henriksen and Milinkovic.
I like what I’ve seen of KLP so far. He looks like the real deal. I don’t think the Motherwell player would be coming in to be a starter, probably more development. I could still see something possibly with Marriott.
For this season, youre probably right, though if we do offload Turbo, Jarrod and the reported Henriksson interest comes to something then there may be some budget available for more than one incoming. McCann has said even before the recent bids they were looking at bringing someone in to cover Bowler.
That’s my point glp he’s not going to be a starter, he’ll be the same as klp possibly. The other two eaves and maguiness realisically aren’t good enough and won’t get enough goals We need a starter
I'd love to have him back, but he has some sort of injury I can't remember which, that by his own admittance he'll have to manage for the rest of his career. He'd fit right in then.
Average Championship players going for £10 million But (according to the latest reports) Palace only bid that amount plus add ons for Bowen. West Ham reported to have bid either a loan with a view to a permanent deal, other reports say £12m plus add ons.
Burnsy saying "loan plus" whatever that means. Sounds like a try before you buy. Get the impression Bowen would want more.
"Right, so you're destined to eternal anxiety with your national team and your Swedish club team. Anything you'd like to add?" "Yeah, I kinda like City" "Ah, Man City? That'll easen things up for ya" "Hull City" "Ah, so you're masochistic" I see a long slippery slide ahead Tomorrow might quite possibly be the worst day for a City supporter in some time....
Agreed! Best players sold others in the treatment room. 13 points above the drop it should be enough to stay up.
