have we / are we about to become stationary! we get a striker but loose a very talented midfielder that has been the driving force more often than not .. and/ or will we take a chance with Maddison? and take toney as well on the loan back! … all very interesting aspects of the final 48 / well 34 hours ………………...
A strange one this, we are looking to bring in a defender who is likely to be recalled from his current club for not getting enough game time, while concurrently looking to send Tyler Moore out on loan as he isn’t guaranteed first-team minutes due to the “good form of Baker and Williams, and the expected return of Kalas”. So does that mean they rate this lad at Chelsea highly enough to break up that 2-3 man defence, or is Williams going early? To add further confusion, we have recalled Vyner from his loan at Aberdeen, why, to warm the bench? All seems very odd!
Vyner is injured. Moore needs to be playing regularly for someone. Ampadu can also do a job in midfield

Exclusive: Bristol City lead Celtic & Derby County in race to sign Leicester City colossus https://www.footballinsider247.com/...unty-in-race-to-sign-leicester-city-colossus/
But why would Chelsea loan us a player if we are loaning out our a player (who has performed well this season) because he can’t break the first choice 2-3 CBS? Also Vyner is back from injury and can used as RB cover as well, not to mention his home grown player status!

Vyner isn't back from injury. It will be the middle of February at the earliest that's if he doesn't need an op that will put out for the season. Ampadu will get more game time with us than he is getting currently
Nothing on the OS about Wells or Brownhill yet..... A Burnley v West Ham bidding war would be good to drive the price up?
The rumours are thick and fast today.... https://rokerreport.sbnation.com/20...rd-antione-semenyo-is-set-for-sunderland-loan
The QPR not606 board is quite active - I’m surprised none of them have popped over to talk about the Wells rumour.
Sunderland have agreed a deal with Bristol City to sign Antoine Semenyo, TEAMtalk can reveal. A number of club were keen on the 20-year-old forward, who almost joined Chelsea last year. The Blues had agreed a deal for the player, but were prevented from landing him because of their transfer ban. Now a Sunderland insider has confirmed to TEAMtalk that Semenyo is moving to the Stadium of Light on loan for the rest of the season.
Burnley's reportedly-imminent £9m signing would hand Preston cash windfall https://www.deepdaledigest.com/news...-9m-signing-would-hand-preston-cash-windfall/
I hadn’t thought of this before, but it makes sense - if we do all our business right at the dying seconds of the window, recipients of any sell-on money (Preston in this case) won’t have time to spend it.
