I think most of us accepted he was going or should have, suddenly big wages and a chance in the big league he has too. Has for us it's a minimum 16 million plus more and if other clubs get involved it will go up. Has fans we obviously want to see it 're invested but don't have a lot of faith in this happening but all we can do is wait, To be honest I know a lot will want immediate replacements but if there was money to spend i would rather wait til the summer unless it's someone the manager really wants. Will there be money to spend? I don't know, cause im doubtful. We will now have to find a different way to play, I am just glad we have the points we have because we could have a stuttering end to the season.
West Ham are awful , could be welcoming him back at The KC next season . I’d hold out for palace if I was him, but I suppose it depends on wages
So with these imminent departures, we are now fully entering into the100% rebuild segment of the McCann era. Hope it goes according to plan.
I guess it was inevitable with Bowen as soon as we turned ****e at the start of the window. And does make sense to cash in on Kamil now. I thought when we signed Wilks and Samuelson at least one was on his way. it was n't like we didn't have options there, why else would we buy more wingers? I would like to see them invest some in Maddison and the rest in reducing the value of the club. If we don't bring anyone else in, it's gonna be a tough second half of the season. It does feel like the end of an era, their wing play has been a pleasure to watch over the last couple of years and when on song up there with some of the most exciting attacking football I have seen from a City team. It'll seem dull without Kamils pace and his total unpredictability and then watching the Starman develop. Good luck to both of them, though as Denis says, both will still be Greedy bastard ****s.
Would Hereford be entitled to anything from this? I can't remember if he was released by Hereford or if we signed him. I'm leaning towards the former, but it'd be nice to think a non-league club would get a bit of a windfall from this.
wasn’t his contact terminated & we got him as a free agent??? Although I have a ****e memory for these type of details
It was something like that, I know they were expelled from the Conference and that's why he was available. Just checked, they didn't pay him so it was a breach of contract on their part and he was allowed to leave for nothing. Guess any money is all ours then. He's had a better career than the other lad he left alongside, he went to Brizzle and is now playing for Leamington.
Think it was between wolves and us but he loved how we spoke to him and his dad, felt it was a right move. Remember his last contract negotiations with us, signed straight away, said this was the place he wanted to progress his career...
Wet spam have 7 winnable games left, 21 points, they are on 23 at the moment, 44 in total with the odd possible draw... I think they’re ****ed... bad move Bowen lad... take Palace every day lad... do well in the games left in thy is season and you might get a proper big move in summer....
Personally I am really disappointed to lose both Grosicki and Bowen but it is inevitable that they will go. It represents the last chance to make good money of our two main talents. With the other two out of favour boys on the move there will be a substantial reduction in the wage bill. I don’t believe that there will be any quality additions with any money gained. It’s going straight into the bank. We might see a couple of players added but I don’t see the point of spending big. We need to forget the top six and play one game at a time now. I would be happy to win a few more and be safe. This team was no where near a promotion side and after tomorrow it will be further away. But I think this is good business for the club and we will go again in decent financial position. Lack of ambition as people say for sure but reality is setting in now and there is nothing to do but try and ride it out.
Looks like it could be a bit of a struggle from now to the end of the season, but even with Bow and Gros it would be the same.
A lot on here will be self harming at those last few lines. **** show of a club who’d want to stay here anywhere is better etc etc good luck Jarrod, absolute credit to yourself your family and to the club. go on and make it really big.
We've just had a £750,000 bid knocked back for Motherwell forward James Scott. 19 year old forward, 6 goals in 28 this season
