We cannot keep Bowen when the PL come knocking even if we did offer to double his wages. If we'd still have been a serious Play Off contender probably both Grosiki and Bowen would have stopped but that's way off now after the last four games. Both players deserve to move on and sad as I am to see them go, it does make financial sense by the club not to hang onto them until the summer. I wouldn't be that bothered about Grosicki leaving if signing Maddison as a replacement was a certainty. But with Milinković going out on loan, Bowler injured and Bowen looking set to go to Palace, we're ****ed in terms of wingers. Standard Allam tactic to sell anything not nailed down so close to deadline day with no adequate replacement.
