I'll be fair in saying that yes, Wiggins hasn't made any costly mistakes, I just find him an incredibly poor and frustrating player to watch. Franco, I know JJ is pony at LB but he's also pony in CM an alternative starting 11 I would like to see (and think a few would agree with) is: Hamer Solly-Taylor-Morrison-Evina Green-Stephens-Hollands-JJ Hayes-BWP With Wagstaff coming off the bench for either Green or either CM with JJ moving into the centre.
WWOCB... You're not Claudio "the tinker man" Ranieri in disguise are you...? Why muck about with something that's not broken?
I didn't realise that creating a thread about an injury to one of our subs would result in a discussion on us dropping our left back ?!?!?!
I think the reason for changeing a winning team would be if Hollands was not available yet after the birth of his triplets.
Just because its not broke, doesn't mean it can't be improved upon, afterall a blunt knife only cuts half as well as a sharp one.
I'm really disappointed for Pritchard and would like to have seen him play a bit more recently. I suppose that if Hollands does drop out on Saturday Hughes will replace him and if so I hope he improves a bit from his recent form.
As I haven't been to a cup game, I can't comment on Hughes- but from what I hear, I will be a tad concerned if he starts.
agreed with other posters, no need to change a winning team but should we have to replace Hollands i'd have no problem with Euell or Alonso stepping in but i'm sure CP would choose to pick Hughes there instead. I also think Wiggins whilst not being overly impressive hasn't been poor either and agree he needs to stay in the team. it's sad news for Pritchard of course but we also have to remember he's not a 1st team player so the team doesn't need to be changed unless someone plays poorly or picks up an injury. I have no problem with Wiggins, didn't he score last game too?
Very sad news for Pritchard and I hope he makes a speedy and complete recovery. However, as we currently have more midfield players than Imelda Marcos had shoes, I'm not expecting a dramatic decline in results.
Where is JA? he should be on here banding about the name of either: a) Prem player needing game time on a short term loan: Steven Gerrard to come and reach fitness sooner b) Unattached player to cover the injury: Bolo Zenden c) that midfielder from Dartford/Welling/Ebbsfleet who could make the step up Get well soon Bradley!
It's not a disaster for the team, but very back luck for Pritchard, who'd fought his way into the matchday 16, and might find it harder when he comes back, with a fully fit Alonso and Green to compete against
So JA ... If you can explain why the O.S. states that he is injured Or maybe give me the real story then you will go up in my estimations Did he get injured ghosting into the penalty area or did he get a ball in the ghoulies ? At least he's better than Spector eh ... Just hope he doesn't as arrogant as that Ian Poulter-Guy you know the golfer (I'll get me coat)
