Boring enough game. Credit to Ross county, they are a tidy enough side.

That was like the old days , standing out in elements and getting a soaking , a win is a win , Falkirk winner made the long journey home a lot better !!!

Good for you hh - unfortunately I can't make anywhere near as many games as I'd like to but saw it on the Internet. A far from impressive first half, though I gather it was 'bucketing' down so conditions weren't great but they seemed nervous and jittery. However, after the goal/s, confidence seemed to flow through the team and they were in complete control in the latter part of the second half (though I don't like to think of what might have happened if Ross County had scored instead of hitting the post!). Falkirk certainly brought Rangers down to earth with a mighty bump!

Tell me - is it just my imagination or is James Forrest spending too much time throwing his arms up and complaining instead of getting on with trying to retrieve the ball? He also doesn't yet appear to have got back the confidence he showed last season, just before his injury. Don't get me wrong - I like him and want to see him get a good run of games alongside Joe Ledley, Anthony Stokes and Gary Hooper as I think that group could become a great combination in getting goals - given the opportunity over a sustained period!

You're right about Forrest. He kept slipping and looking to the referee for a foul when there was no foul. His decision making was also poor: there were a few times when he didn't release the ball ended up giving the ball away.

    But that comes with experience.

He was MoTM a couple of weeks ago against Motherwell, had a poorish game in Madrid and was dropped for the OF game. It's hard to get a rhythm going when there's so much chopping and changing.

St - agree totally. We need a settled team, getting to know each other's every move - and I think that team should always be the team which provided the last victory. Injuries or tactics not working in a particular game, are when changes should be made and present opportunities for other players to break into the team.

Diving wee bastard. You were lucky, if we had scored instead of hitting the post, things would have been different. <whistle>

Celtic have a couple of hard games coming , hearts and Killie away . Rangers have rearranged a league game next midweek while we are playing our European fixture. Then play Saturday before our Sunday game , we could go to tynie 10 points behind. Got to ride the storm and hopefully their cup displays will soon appear in the league . I can smell a treble !!!

Nah - he's a good lad really -just needs to get a bit of guidance, more experience and mature into the top player he can be! Yep, if you had scored instead of hitting the post, who knows what would have happened.....but you didn't... and we owed you one for last year LOL! Just think though, if you had been playing Rangers, you could have been through to the next round!!!!
