Good, there were only about 2 active data reviewers for the Toon (that includes me) before I got the boot which I guess accounts for the crap stats.

They denied me many months ago. Had no idea what kind of stuff they wanted to see in the app form.

Lovenkrands down to 69 pace?? He's still faster than the average player, and most of our squad.

Added the on loan players I can find; Forster (72), Xisco (72), Tavernier (58) and LuaLua (69)

No, must have really ****ed up the app form then <wah>

EDIT: Nolan has 67 pace, which puts him around the same speed as Lovenkrands...

  9. I'm not applying for the data reviewer, i'm applying for the editor and the one that pays money. I just spend a god damn hour and half doing their test. Hopefully i'll be successful. It would be an awesome job, but i aint getting my hopes up.

I'm looking for a job, and this can at least go on my job seekers book.

You'll have to be quite active on the database then.

Sometimes it's best to start as a data reviewer then once you start to get the hang of things you can contact your producer and ask if you can be upped to editor status, but if you have the right credentials I don't see how you could not get the job.

    What was the test like?

  11. Well after the application form. I told them my experience with computers and data with the NHSect.

In the test i had to pick 5 players and fill in a load of stats, and update the profile of the players. There were hundreds of the ****ers.

E.G. How recognized is the player, from 1-10, and for Steven Taylor i picked 7 which was "established player in a top league".

    **** like that.

You've just got to pick players and fill in a load of stats and info on them, and then they'll review it and see how accurate you are with things... or w/e i dunno.

I don't know if i'll get it, but if you don't buy a ticket, you don't win the raffle.

I basically put I like to be very thorough when judging a player, i look at all aspects of the player, and I also edit stats quite a lot on Fifa if i disagree with the default ratings. I also put down that i have experience putting high attention to detail, as i was working with info in the NHS that needed to be accurate, and it was in a fast paced environment, so my concentration levels had to be high.

Just a load of sucking up bollocks basically ;)<ok>

Expect Newcastle to have some of the best players in the world then if you get the job.

  13. All except Jonas. That piece of **** is going down to 54. He's ****ing **** and doesn't wave, which = poor mentality and that he doesn't give a **** about anyone.

    <grr> Argie twat!!!

Weird how he's a 79, when I was still there I sent in feedback so he was nerfed a bit so he wasn't completely Messi like, raised his pace a tad because that's the way he plays (Knocks a ball, runs onto it).

Seems like it's been changed again.

  16. His crossing and shooting should be lowered, his pace and agility raised, his attacking work rate high and defensive work rate medium.

Don't forget dribbling and ball control.

When I played with Jonas on FIFA 11 I didn't play him like Jonas, if you know what I mean. It's ridiculous how I could just roulette my way past defenders and take a finesse shot from 20 yards out and net it.

  20. Yeah but anyone can score a screamer on their day. ffs Smith hit the bar from 25 yards out vs Arsenal in the cup... That's saying something lol
