they’ve been average for a couple of months.. can’t get Diangana and pereira on the pitch together... neither played last night) and as we found out at Elland road, they’re a handful when they’re together
I saw the highlights and seriously I wouldn't want to expose anybody, they know who they are. The strange thing is I think they want success just as much as me but just don't want to get their hopes up. To me that is actually the fun of supporting Leeds, there are ups and downs.
They are doing the same as us, winning the stats, but not the games. The difference last season was others came good as we struggled, we need a run next few games.
There isn't a supporter on here or anywhere who hasn't moaned about their team at some point, its just that some moan more than others ALAW
A game of two halves, we came close to a third just before half time and I said to my mate that would had wrapped the game up for us. Second half we stood off you too much and once you got the first you could see it coming. My main piss off is why the **** can’t I get a signal for the internet inside Elland Road? I had planned to either cash out my bet at halftime or do a covering bet of a draw and Leeds win which would had been quite a good price but couldn’t get on to my account Still we go again on Saturday at Sheffield Wednesday
Internet is due to so many trying to use it in a small area, works fine, before the ground fills up. Don't suppose it's a problem at the Den
Good morning to you sorry about your internet going down those making derogatory comments about our play in the first half have no need to hang their heads in shame Facts are facts we were rubbish first half
I took the Mrs to the First Direct Arena on Friday for Strictly Come Dancing the same there, must be a Leeds thing as it never happens anywhere else. I had to laugh at the “is this a library?” chant we came out with just before half time, you could hear a tissue fall it was so quiet
I was definitely gloomy at half time. Glad the team met my challenge head on . A massive thumbs up to all the optimists out there
Important thing is the players clearly read the comments here at half time while having their half time soup and took note. So any posters who contributed during the first half can claim credit for eventual result. Those that kept quiet are a bit like people who don't vote
Pleased to report that I have taken the bandages off my wrists this morning and they seem to have healed quite well the scar however is bigger than expected so I rang the doc’s who told me not to worry if we beat Wigan on sat the scar will vanish
Maybe so Chesh, but even when we were on a roll early on in the season and I'm mainly talking about this site, some of the comments during a game IMO even out of frustration are ridiculous. That's why I try and not comment anymore during the games. Has anyone got a snapshot of where we were this time last season.
As Ive always maintained, no problem with anyones contributions. Its their views at the time, right or wrong in other peoples opinion. Its a forum, that's what its for. Nobody, as far as Im aware is forced to log in
there’s middle ground here... Fans get polarised and tend to go over the top in both directions. Heros to zeros. It’s an emotive game. Same with the team as with the owners. Zero’s... for most of January. A couple of (let's be honest, might prove good but cheap) loan signings and they’re heros. If big Kev doesn’t get a Hat trick on debut, they will be zeros again. Folk being folk.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH....some people can't Ah the old don't have to log in comment. I didn't think you were like that Eire.
actually, they have won a few 'stats' recently... but they've been playing average for quite a while and getting points whist losing the stats. They've never been near the top of the expected goals table.... but when they have a full side out they have a foward line that bails them out frequently. If they get Diangana and Pereira back fit they might still go up - if they don't they'll struggle in my opinion.
We obviously disagree. Is it too much to ask that for the next 17 games supporters just support, save the the disapproval and recriminations until we see where we end up and then give both barrels if you feel it's justified. The players are fully aware and even Bielsa mentioned external pressure from supporters last night. Just how much evidence do you need before you accept the negative effect all the criticism has on the team you support.
On another positive note Jammy, isn't it great that the team doesn't seem to let their heads drop, even after going two down. Some sides in the past would have thrown in the towel..
