Word on the street is Mourinho wants Giroud at Spurs, as you've still not reached an agreement reached with Milan for Piatek. Spurs are willing to offer him a 1.5 year deal. Chelsea are undecided whether they want him to join you, considering their lack of transfer activity. If people thought he hadn't tarnished his reputation with us following his antics after the Europa League final, he unequivocally will do if he joins you lot. I don't really care if you get him or not, but he will not be welcome to set foot in the Emirates again if this move materialises. And I'm sure we will make that abundantly clear to him.
Can’t see it to be honest mate. Even if there was truth in our interest, I doubt Chelsea would ever sell. He may be the contingency of the contingency plan but I just don’t personally see that happening. If I were still a betting man I’d put a few quid on Piatek being a Spurs player before the deadline shuts. I think Bergwijn will be announced tomorrow morning/ lunchtime and then all efforts will be on getting Piatek. It seems all parties are willing to do a deal, we want him, he wants us, Milan are happy to deal, just gotta join up the dots for it to happen.

Yeah I think Jose has a plan in mind on how he wants to go forward and I’m liking the players we’ve signed/ been linked too. All players that are young yet with very promising reputations and solid experience already. I think Jose and Levy have sort of met in the middle with transfers, Jose knows he won’t get players for Pogba-esque figures but at the same time it feels like Levy is being convinced to spend quite big on some of the best young talent available.

I have always looked up to a top coach like Jose Mourinho and now I am going to play for him. It is great to be here. Just look at the facilities around us. When I play Fifa, I almost always choose a team from the Premier League. I look forward to playing in that great atmosphere. It will take some getting used too but it will be alright. I think my physical match is also good for the Premier League. I believe in myself and I really know I am not there yet. I have played many matches in the Eredivisie. England is a bit different but I know what I can do.
