well that was interesting . Serves us right since ,as previously stated , a bunch of our players looked like they would win by right rather than having to do the work first .
Fair play to Shrewsbury they deserved what they got just as we did .

Citeh's win was more to do with Fulham playing for 84mins with 10 men at the Etihad. Frankly Citeh were also pretty poor for most of the game, once they gone 2-0 up the middle part of the game was rubbish. Its was only when Fulham tired that Citeh scored the other 2.
Fulham gave up on winning that game after 6mins and just turned into damage limitation.

City got the softest red card in history

We'd play against 7 men every week if we got the same calls

So City put out a fairly strong team and win but Klopp doesn't whinges about replays. Sounds about right.

To be fair it was the senior players who were disappointing. I think we had enough to beat them, but weren't at it

<laugh>. You do realise that that strong team that pep put out was their B team don’t you?? That’s what half a billion net spend can do for you. Unless you’re Man Utd, obviously <ok>

It was around this time last year that we wobbled and it effectively cost us the league. We absolutely need to beat West Ham this week (a) to justify the team selection today and (b) because I’m going <laugh>

That is the nature of the game these days. We only had three HG start, 4 if you count Chirivella (I think he was with academy young enough to qualify)

Plus we had 4 more on the bench.

    So 8 to City's 1.

    Bit of a difference like.

So the FA ask that teams respect the winter break, but then allow replays in the same time period? Interesting.

What's the point of a "winter break" if games are scheduled during it?

Klopp is a hero, standing up for sense in the scheduling

In the long term every club will benefit from his principles
