Apparently his chopper went down in California his morning killing all on board. News just released 30 minutes ago.

 

Well, that's a ****ing downer to ruin the day I've had.

RIP Kobe. One of the best.

 

Proof that someone can have everything, at least on the surface, but no man is guaranteed a tomorrow.

 

Not sure he should be mourned too much tbh great player that he was.

 

Eh? Basketball is never brought up on here, as very few care for it over this side of the pond, so we rarely talk about it on this board, but I am a huge fan of it, and it is one of the few sports I am actually any good at, and Bryant, along with LeBron James, was one of my sporting heroes growing up that had nowt to do with City or football. So I will mourn him.

Great player that he was, was 41 his age or the prison sentence he evaded due to his money and celebratory status?

 

Helicopters, eh...One form of transport I'd think twice about using.

 

If that’s true that is terrible I have to say, damn. I’ve not read that anywhere yet though.

 

Daughter, Gianna, 13 was on board but his wife and 3 other daughters were not according to U.S. reports.

 

One daughter confirmed so far, 13 year old GiGi who was also a promising basketball player.
