A very big if, but should we beat Barnsley we would be 10 points in front of them allowing for our superior goal difference. This would hopefully be enough to keep them below us for the remainder of the season. However, on our current run I cannot go into any game thinking we are going to get 3 points.
I think it’s 3 from 4 this season for the drop UNLESS ESI spends proper money, which now looks unlikely. Charlton Wigan Barnsley Luton
but Bow said on Friday that he is still aiming for the play offs this season and Matt says that he is very confident that we will NOT be relegated this season
Still referring to yourself in the third person I see When you go downstairs in the morning, is true you say to the Mrs... “CLB would like a cup of tea”
@Clb74 would NEVER shorten his name to CLB.... 'HRH the Queen' would never shorten her name to 'Queen' would she
3 points and no more injuries would set us up nicely. Jonny Williams will be targetted, so let's hope he does enough damage before going off. Looks like nTaylor will still be with us, so he'll start. We were promised Marquee Signings
Roland still owns the land - I can understand your position Elfs. First we were told ESI had bought everything. Then we were told they haven't bought the land yet. We've had assurances that the land will be bought by ESI in the summer. That's fine - I'll renew my ST when Roland has sold the land and has no remaining connection or business interests in Charlton Athletic.
Yes, bit of a nuisance that. I'll have to hope Southall is as good as his word, or that isn't all I'll be missing. I'm not going to be strung along by ever-changing stories of why Duchatelet still owns this part of CAFC or that part, beyond the summer. I want ESI to be telling the truth but I'm not going to hand over hundreds of pounds and then be fed some more excuses. I'm being completely transparent and honest about this, and my story won't change in the next couple of weeks. I'll pay when Roland is 100% gone - and not before. PS: I'll be at the Barnsley game though, already paid for that of course. We must win it. And I want to see all the new players we'll be signing this week, in action
Surely it's clear they are struggling with the wedge. Taking too long on Bowyer's contract. F****** around with player purchases. As regards The Valley and Sparrows Lane.........
I don't want to believe the worst. But there has been too much ambiguity, and too much shifting of positions during these past three weeks or so to allow me to trust Matt Southall - to the extent of handing over nearly £500 to his organisation as soon as ST's for next season go on sale. I gave far too much to Duchatelet. Can't change that now, but I can do the right thing from this point on. Let's see what happens between now and August.
