It doesn't make enough money so they're going to add fantastic sides such as Finland's runners up to make larger groups or some bullshit.
the majority of PL stick out weakened teams as do a lot of championship teams . The FA cup is dying on the vine unfortunately just look at the attendances .
What attendances are we looking at? Hull have got a full house today, the first time in a long time. My club was sold out against West Ham, you would have to go back a couple of decades since that last happened.
given the right draw lower division clubs will plus if lucky they win the the TV lottery draw but https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51000810
Managers individual priorities and their choice of team selection is a different issue to whether it’s right to **** around with the format of the competition. I don’t think the competition is in any way ‘dying’, it remains the premier domestic cup competition in the World.
hey it is the FA who keep altering the format not the PL . Their reasons for doing so may be as a result of some of the issues highlighted in the link in my post that you replied to but it is their decision and theirs alone .
Under pressure from the PL mate, come on, but yes ultimately it’s their call, and they were wrong to alter the latter rounds format imo, and would compound that mistake by being bullied into doing similar with the earlier rounds.
I'm with you on that all the way, during my playing days the FA Cup always took precedence over the league and for me it was always the highlight of the year.
Playing days and the FA Cup in the same sentence? We need the details here mate. I never knew you played to any sort of level tbh.
