Unfortunately we aren’t all privy to the knowledge and goings on behind the scenes. Others are. I’m pretty much house bound for about 70% of my time. Sorry for wanting to know what’s going and not what x,y or z are called from driffernt forums.

That's fair enough but there's nothing to stop you giving your opinion on the topic or what people have said.

I've posted everything I know and am happy to respond to questions but it's pointless simply repeating the same thing.

Until the journalist publishes more details, or something else happens, the thread has run its course imo.

No worries Qos, so getting things back-ish on track. Does anyone think there may be a reason Charlie is at the match tomorrow?

If he’s here surely it’s a strong indication he might be wining and dining potential buys / the Americans

Wouldn't happen to be that journalist (safc fan) in Dubai that first tweeted about the takeover by any chance?

The poster was only his second post in as a newbie and he wants it back on track, seems odd?

It's amazing how new posters seem to want to whinge at this board and the people who post.

As I've said before this isn't a reading room, it's a forum ...

...if they don't like the content there's a very easy solution.

Agree. I normally try and give benefit of doubt, but usually my first gut instinct tends to be right, but we'll see <ok>

I’m sorry that you see it as a whinge. But I do think it would make navigating the thread easier and that perhaps the names could have their own thread. And here I am taking this of course even further- ever the hypocrite

TBH the thread started and finished with the first post ...

... everything else is just people's opinions.

Once that's been done it's inevitable that the thread will splinter and go off on tangents.

I imagine so as I don’t think he’s been at the last few games or it could be because we’ve won a few he feels safer. Isn’t his lass due to sprog?

Nothing wrong with posters changing subject for a few post, I’m happy to read anything in here so long as it doesn’t deteriorate to the idiocy like over the road. It always comes back to the subject anyway so there’s no problem

There's a weird atmosphere over there at the moment, some people seem genuinely unable to enjoy our run of victories.

They seem to be so entrenched in bitterness and only interested in arguments, whatever happened to a daft laugh and harmless fun.

The Oddbod weirdo is typical of those ruining the forum. He's always straight there, defending the forum, but does more than most to spoil it with incessant drivel and sniping. It makes people unwilling to post and must put new people off from creating an account.

If he simply stopped posting no one would care, or even notice.

This board has arguments and disagreements but there's not the same relentless bickering and infantile stalking ....

... if someone tries it the Mods squish them like bugs.

I'm the same name over there, been a member over there since 2011 but didn't post much/ forgot about account until recently by chance.

Not a prolific poster but nice to keep up with things Sunderland and have a bit crack.

There's a few posters over there make me laugh but its far too rowdy for me now I'm gerrin old :D

I agree with the above. Many posters have the owner bone in their gobs and keep gnawing away.
As i mentioned both here and tried using a euphanism over the road.

The "fans" have publicly declared that they want SD to sell up and leave. Now those same people are whingeing that he's not spending any money.

It's like your lass asking for a divorce because she wants better. You agree to start the process.

Then a short time later she comes to you asking for money for a new dress. Would you give it to her or tell her to **** off. I know what i would do.
