why are people blaming Rad ? it was Bielsa who wanted a small squad If Rad was not Backing him he would have fooked off Now Bielsa wants a striker and you have made 3 bids If you are 5m short of breaking FFP someone has spent big money right ? So who the fook was it if it wasn't Rad ?
The FFP calculation remains open to debate but lets not start that again. Seems to me you can break it get promoted and suffer a small fine in the scheme of the Premier riches

It was something I read in the press when the Jansson sale was done. It was mentioned in a couple of articles explaining that Leeds didn't have the full 39 million to spend up to because of a lack of investment from the owner or from someone outside the club. The year before was the 49ers money. Our cap is more like 33 million and that's why we are closer to it than most think we are. That's why I said "sounds like" and I was just throwing that out there as a possible reason why Radz gets some stick for not going all out this January. He can't because we are capped. It's maybe why we are going down the loan to buy route.
Just remembered. Someone posted about this lat week, I think. The details are lost on me, but I'm sure they suggested this has something to do with the 49ers investment preventing Radz investing more. Something about diluting share %age or something like that? Apols if I'm way off here.

Under Cellino we made a 9 million loss over 3 seasons, Rad then sold 10% to cover the loss. If Rad issues more shares by investing in the club, he has to give the 49ers free shares to keep their share at 10%.
