In the North I would agree, but down here they are fine, apart from the French Arabs, they are ****s.
This thread has made me realise I was wrong. I now like Americans. Thank you guys and have a nice day
I quite like the French. I've only ever been to Paris and, despite what I was led to expect from Parisians, they were much more polite than people in other capital cities I've been to.
If you're talking about the over the top "Hey sir, how are you doing today" every shop you enter then I hate that. It tires pretty quickly. Though I meant when eating out at a bar or wherever you are expected to tip.
In a normal shop, when they say, "have a great day", I think they genuinely want you to have a great day, whatever a great day is, I'm happy if I have an alright day.
I'm not judgemental like you. I am warm and welcoming to all who reciprocate. The world would be a better place without your type. Given your employment history though it is sadly not surprising.
Aye when was a Copper we had a wee pool going in the Canteen to see who could falsely accuse the most Frenchmen of crimes. I got two of the ****s done with Rape and Incest even though they were both Eunuchs. ****ing Jury shat it though and let them off. SO much for British Justice.
Well when I was over there it used to do my nut in. I would tell them I'm just having a look and then they would talk about my accent, why I was there, their family etc. I did have an experience there when I went into Walgreens to get a pack of smokes. When I started to speak she said "Northern Ireland right?" followed by "Belfast?" Then she told me about her father coming from Armagh and her mother from county down. She then asked me "Orange or green" Told her no one had came out and asked me that before, but she said she could as her da was "green" and her ma was "orange." Stood talking to the ol doll for a few minutes before realising there was about 10 people waiting behind me in cue.
