Born bred in Leeds (Middleton), grew up in Leeds, then Wakefield, then moved over to the wrong side of the Pennines 20 years ago. Now I reside in Bolton. Been a Leeds fan since I was a kid, had several seasons tickets over the years, but not anymore do to the cost of coming to games on top of the cost of season ticket. I do try and get to games every so often, but it has become hard to get tickets since Bielsa's arrival!
We've probably not even spoken to Southampton, as the club says nothing, where do the rumours come from ? If only we had the players we've been linked with during the last 2 years.
As much as we hated him (and I'm playing Devil's Advocate) Bate's era wasn't that bad. Yes he's a former Chelsea Chairman but he's a football man. This is the man that brought in Larry as manager who took us from league 1 to 7th in the Championship in 2 or 3 years. Yes he bled the club dry selling when he could but look at who he sanctioned transfer wise. Beckford, Johnson, Snodgrass, Becchio, McCormack. We had IMO a better scouting network then now (see above players). Under Radz we've been through a year of being laughed at Myanmar and the Right Wing Crest that they had to scrap. We signed dross then brought in Heckingbotham as manager. Now we got a weaker squad than under Monk and we're embarrassing ourselves chasing anybody we can and sorry we're looking desperate now.
Jesus get the hint and move on from Adams and someone else or are we gonna go in for a 4th or 5th time

I'm+not standing up for him. I hate him as much as you or the next man. He ****ed up plenty of times... Wise, McAllister even Colin but look at the talent we produced, the likes of Delph and Howson and Parker. We managed to get Schmeichel for nothing and he won the Prem under Ranieri of all coaches. Say what you wnat about Monk who was a Celino appointment but that squad was stronger than what we have now. I'd take Wood over Bamford. Can you sit there and tell me you're happy with the sales of Viera, Taylor, Wood, Pontus and Roofe. With the likes of Douglas, Anita, Lasongga, Weildwald being brought in
It makes no difference how I feel. Most of those players wanted to leave in the end. Viera and Jansson being the exception. Ironically at the time Philips was the one fans wanted to sell. Anyway it's now that we should focus on. If we don't go up, Bielsa will be gone, players sold and we'll have to start again. Then fans will really have something to moan about.
