From Bri's now deleted post it appears that ... The head of the commonwealth, from a German family and married to a Greek, is a racist. The Queen, who I believe is a woman, is sexist. Andrew has already been charged and convicted ... ... while at the same time getting off 'scot free'
I thought that was the norm... I consider myself lucky that I am allowed to be in control of my sock draw...
I can't help but wonder if Meghan wears wigs and if her short & curlies are shorter/tighter than most. Cue the accusations that I'm a racist, rather than something I just wonder about.
I’m sure at the time she was just a great sh*g who he was happy to look at the morning after - the other stuff doesn’t turn up till later
Tbh I think ended up marrying her because he wasn't allowed to shag Kate's sister Meghan is the Smart Price version, or at least was before she started filling his head with ****e
Megs has too many skeletons in her family. The firm were probably relieved to let them go. Having said that, some of the stuff in the papers and rehashed here is just bitter. She's passionate about women's rights. That doesn't go down too well in certain quarters. Sadly, I would give the marriage five years before Harry's back in the warm bosom of his family. I hope I'm wrong.
Judging from her father and that side of the family, they basically at the same time hate her and want to make money using her in any way possible. Even her ex husband wanted to make a fast buck. So I reckon she is a tough cookie... although it is fairly obvious Harry was not keen on the whole 'royal' gig and wanted out...so I doubt there has been much of a push.. the Daily Heil has a lot to answer for as well.
I think you're right about him having to go back to his gran's tbh. This young woman has alienated herself from two families, is into her second marriage, third religion and third country ... ... she may have some worthwhile attributes but loyalty certainly isn't one of them. She'll kick him into touch within a few years and be set up for life.
It's usually a joint effort tbf. In this case, a lad of below average intelligence suffering early childhood trauma bought into a walking talking self help book that was eyeing up his title. Now she's got two extra dependents and what must feel like a whole country raging at her.
Being the 'Spare to the Heir' (or the Heir Presumptive) has never been a comfortable job. But it is a necessary one, (in constitutional terms), till such time as The Heir Presumptive arranges to provide a replacement. So all Harry has to look forward to is gradually sliding further down the list of those in line. So far he has followed the, recent, traditional line of a service career where he's been allowed to get involved in the action. But for the future he's a spare that will get less and less relevant as the years pass. (Consider the example of The Duke of York). So getting out and trying to get a life, apart from opening schools and hospitals, seems a reasonable line to me. And he gets away from the accusation of 'sponging off the taxpayers'. Personally I think it's a very laudable step. And since his wife has showbusiness experience and he is an internationally famous figurehead I see no reason why they shouldn't be successful with their entry into the entertainment industry, IF that what they choose to do. As for those blaming her, I'm reminded ( of reading ) of the furore following Edward V111's abdication. The Great British Public blamed HER for this. The assumption then was that HE didn't have the brains to work out for himself what he wanted to do. They may have been right. But if they were then he wasn't the right man for the job anyhow. (History tells us he wasn't!!!) And the same applies to Harry. (The abdication took place in December 1937. A ditty popular at the time was 'Hark the Herald Angles sing, Mrs Simpson stole our King.) I wish them both the best of luck. However the fact that he has given up on being a Royal is going to take a long time to sink in and get 'The Press' off their backs. The Duke and Duchess of Windsor never achieved it, though to be fair they didn't seem to mind being in the public eye
