Why does LJ not say that he and Kasey Palmer do not get on rather than saying he is one of the squad when he is not pick even as a sub, and now been offered to Charlton in a swap, surly when he was signed he was the best thing since sliced bread and somebody to give us drive from midfield. This is the first time I have posted I have followed City since I was 10 am now 75.
Welcome Cheddar Red, I have seen you having a peep and it's great to have you join us, 75 years young, you are not much different from a few of us old muckers on here. First off the Kasey Palmer report is only a rumour but there is never smoke without fire, LJ does seem to have curious relationships with some of our players and it does make you wonder what he is about, it will be interesting to see how the Palmer rumour turns out, keep involved mate.
HI keep posting Chedder clearly signing being made that LJ does not want or someone has thrown the baby out of the bath water.
almost one of my favourite places … but certainly falls into my love of Mendip! .. welcome to the board, and agree with comments … something not quite right at the moment at AG … THINK MAYBE it is January … and players may not all be performing at the same time …. they need to chill out a bit … and relax
Ah Cheddar - all the managers from my old employer lived there - the former Keymarkets managers - when they took over Gateway foodmarkets. I worked for a few of them. I know for a fact that some still live there. Don’t get me wrong; some were ok you may have been one Cheddar Red!!!
Or, is this an old news story that has surfaced, which is what upset Palmer a few weeks back when he learned of this, but is now all smoothed over? Don't believe every story in the press is 'new' news!
The state of play regarding Bristol City, Charlton Athletic and Lyle Taylor The 29-year-old is out of contract in the summer but that doesn't necessarily mean the Addicks will sell now https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/state-play-regarding-bristol-city-3759031 It looks as if the KP rumour might have legs.
Off course he isn't @Red Robin would much rather go for Assombalonga who has a much better strike rate of 6 goals in 18 games in the championship this season
In fairness to RR - who I don’t often agree with - I’d take Assombalonga (wages permitting) I like him as a striker and I think he’d do a job for us. Absolutely NOT dismissing Taylor - I simply don’t know much about him.
Naki Wells is on the radar Burnley can recall from QPR and are willing to sell. Naki and Britt just the job.
pennies just dropped we leave the eu and the window closes at the same time so wonder what happens if any footballer is caught in the flux … or indeed afterwards should they come or go via Europe?
A late Canadian welcome to you cheddar red. I used to live in Edithmead and my wake up call from my bedroom window was Brent Knoll and Cheddar Gorge in the far distance. I too am in my mid-seventies and have been a supporter since I was about 12 but their dismal performances forced me to leave the country. Welcome aboard the good ship not 606.
the 17th was kasey and Charlton, pointing out to inver …. bailey was put about by teesider at some point was! and ?
