Trying to read between the lies. To loose a "lot" of experienced staff must be a concern. There must have been something seriously wrong for that to happen, maybe financial. Is it conceivable that some owners aren't paying their bills, which might explain why so many aren't reaching the racecourse? Although lack of experienced staff could also be the reason for that. The loss of top jockey might explain why some horses are just falling short but doesn't explain anything else. Whatever the underlying reason for a mass departure, it has to have a major bearing on the poor results.
You've got to feel that haven't you, but would be surprised if it's someting financial More likely some personal issues between personnel, but it's all guessing. The thing is there has been something disruptive and it appears to have rippled through the stable. I somehow wouldn't be surprised if Moore leaves.
All it takes is for say the head lad to fall out with one lad. Suddenly all the lads who are friends with that lad fall out with the head lad and so on. A small dispute can quickly snowball. Will the Moore/Ballydoyle rumours finally come to fruition? If Sir Michael is struggling then it would appear an ideal time for Moore to make the jump.
