You know what though, joking aside, we're still one of the favourites for promotion, if his dream was to get promoted he could do worse than join on loan and if we fail he can still put in a transfer request, not that he would need to as with one year left on his contract you'll have to sell him either way. Originally I thought it was a stupid offer but looking at how your owners might see it they get £3m for 5 months then if we don't go up they get the player back and can still sell him for £15-£20m it depends on their ambition and if they believe the player could be the difference of promotion or not. We're basically saying to your owners we will give you the asking price or near to it if we are promoted, if not then you're making 20% interest in just 5 months on your valuation
Won’t happen. Our owners may be many things but they see the opportunity of the play offs and the potential for promotion. That’s only a possibility by keeping Bowen. The list of Premier League clubs that have registered an interest and have watched him this season stands at 13. He’s already in my opinion better than other players that have left the Championship to play in the PL.
