Similar could be said for Dele It's as if our midfield's inability to get hold of games is causing this to happen...
We are so lower mid-table... If anyone was still deluding themselves about CL qualification...then, don't!
0-0 FT. Poor performance and we're probably lucky to escape with a point, given the penalty we gave away. Tanganga's not a left-back, we don't have a striker and whatever that system was didn't work. Levy needs to get in a couple of strikers and sort it out.
Unlucky in the end, at least 99% of the ball was over the line. Need a target man to hold it up, Llorente?
Well we kept a clean sheet and some of the interplay from the attacking players looked nice, even if it ultimately came to nothing. Could have nicked it at the end on the line but it would have been a barely deserved 3 points. We badly need to get both FBs sorted out and a striker. The midfield is getting there but we’re hamstrung by the other problems in the squad.
But wait.... Deeney has fallen over going off the pitch. Although the game is over he gets a foul anyway. Meanwhile I need to find out what the handball rules are. Or is it dependent on what teams are playing? Anyone think the handball early on would have been called if Pool were claiming it?
I am sure that I have never said this before and its likely I will never say it again - But Aurier was one of our best players in that match, not sure what that says about the team, but credit where its due he handled Delofeu well today. Think we deserved a point neither team really did enough to win and Deeney is a massive cheat just kept falling over and that Clown Oliver just kept giving him the foul. Promising 15 mins from Gedson hope he starts against Norwich.
I know that, when a team has a highly-regarded prospect who plays as a striker, it's a good idea to include them in matchday squads when there's no other strikers available, not just to give them experience but also because the team needs a focal point up front rather than a couple of wingers But sure, blame Levy for everything, even stuff such as tactics, formations, and squad selection and get arsey when you're called on it, that'll make your feeble attempt at an argument more convincing...
var again. How can one be a penalty and the other not in the same situation. Both players didn't know much about the ball hitting them.So NO penalties!!!! But it is Spurs,of course...….!
He just kept backing in and falling over. It was really obvious, but Oliver fell for it every time. I think that he got the penalty decisions right, though. Poor decisions on bookings.
