Watford Reserves suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Queens Park Rangers in this afternoonâs friendly at the Râs training ground. Rangers named a strong XI and new signing Jason Puncheon was instrumental in his side being 4-0 up at half time, with highly-rated Hornetsâ scholar Sean Murray grabbing a consolation free kick midway through the second half. Experienced full back Bradley Orr opened the scoring on seven minutes as he slotted home Puncheonâs through ball from close range. It was from a cleared Puncheon cross that Petter Vaagan Moen struck a superb second from 20 yards out and the former Blackpool winger was again the provider as Hogan Ephraim fired a first-time shot into the far corner. The fourth came courtesy of more good work from Puncheon five minutes before the break and this time Gary Borrowdale applied the finish. Watfordâs consolation came midway through the second half as Republic of Ireland youth international Murray scored what was described as a âperfectly-executedâ free kick. QPR: Cerny; Orr, Borrowdale, Parmenter, Peroni; Champion, Ephraim, Vaagan Moen, Andrade; Hewitt, Puncheon.

That's not gloating. That's just politely shutting the wolves fans up and putting them I'm their place. He was very clever and restrained!
