Sir David Attenborough warns of climate 'crisis moment'

Erm she wants to save the planet for herself .. i want the human race to die out..very different agendas

 

Some people still believe the world is flat, some people think vaccines cause autism. Some people are very, very stupid.

To suggest that Sir David is wrong here is to say the entire credible scientific community is wrong. They aren’t, they tend to be smarter and have kick arse technology it’s that simple.

 

I expect this thread to really take off circa 9:30pm.

No I cant afford to worry about the environment.

Believe it or not yes. I decided in Norway I wouldn't buy a car, I go by transport. Buses here are electric.

Only paper stuff, no plastics. No food waste. Low wattage bulbs, just things like that.

I dunno how else I can really effect things, but I enjoy the increased amount of walking. back in england I drove everywhere.

 

Is that easy to do in Norway?

 

Yes, the country is very, very active in environmental change. Scrapping its oil dependency, slowing down production and selling, encouraging everyone to have electric cars, lowering transport prices and increasing bus and train numbers.

In the 2 years I've lived here it's dramatically improved.

 

Just need other countries to get on board like that.

 

Well the reality is that its too expensive for the majority of people to make the required changes... the world is going to die, the people at the top know it cannot be saved.

 

All the Northern european ones are. But honestly speaking the Europeans aren't the problem. America is the largest contributor, even greater than China. Or so I believe?

Vlad Putin said he understands Greta's message, but in Europe she's essentially in an echo chamber, we need to find a way to go to Nigeria, Chad, South America and say "Hey, I know you're poor, but we need you to not develop and keep being very poor because we are scared about climate change."

For these very, very poor people, having a job is more important than climate change.

 

The countries across the world and the human race hasnt even figured out theres no god yet.

 

Before this global warming became a news issue , there were / still are lots of animals , etc that are either extinct or in danger of becoming so because of Humanity .

Name me one other mammal that chooses to kill for fun on the scale humanity has ?

Also for use as an aphrodisiac ?

WE as a species have acted disgracefully .

 

A lot of Muslim countries, like Pakistan are very, very active in efforts to improve their carbon footprint.

I believe they just pledged a plan to plant a billion new trees in Pakistan.

 

Oh and Contraception .

 

So what ? Its like trying to put out the great fire of london with a teaspoon of water mate.

 

if there was 7 billion lions, I'd say they'd give us a run for our money.
