You would think that we are putting out a squad that should be able to beat Shrewsbury. Verdict in about 2 hours from now which will decide if we need tickets to the next round?
I'll bet Liverpool are $hitting themselves about facing the winner of this, 75 mins and no goals....... They could paly their kids with no fear at all!!
There we go, it had been coming from Shrewsbury for the last 15 mins....... It's quite staggering how many goals we have conceded this season from shots outside the box?
1-0 and it looks like we can forget about entertaining Liverpool. What a shock - not! Championship hopefuls you must be kidding but perhaps it was a plot to focus on promotion.
Set back but we can get on with our real target now - the play offs, it's a shame to have missed out on Liverpool but good luck to Shrewsbury, I am going to another place now.
Don't get put off by the jabs RR because in case you haven't heard I have some very high profile neighbours about to move in from somewhere in England. P.S. To the potential new arrivals we have had another arrival and it's called snow out here on Vancouver Island.
Saves getting a thrashing against Liverpool.......I agree not good enough but hey ho....dust ourselves off and onto the next game..still in decent position in the championship......no knee jerking from me......but I expect there will be from the usual!!
And yet more embarrassment Don't listen to those who say 'it's only the cup' or 'we can concentrate on the league now' as that's bullshit. I'm sure that this morning that bean counter Lansdown is bemoaning the £1m or so we would have earned from getting a full house against the Scousers, all the merchandise and food/drink profit we'd have generated on the day, plus the TV rights money, all of which has been wasted. The fact is over 2 games we lost to a L1 team. But not even a top L1 team mind you, but one that's below halfway in their division. Our record over the last 9 games in all competitions is Played 9, Won 2 (against teams that are even worse than us!), Drawn 1 and Lost 6 It's time for the vote of confidence followed by a dismissal
Angelic Alas it won't happen, Junior will more likely get another extension to his contract. However for me the longer I see more of Junior squirming I love it. I look forward to reading more of the clappers defending the man with a silver spoon who invented intellectual football bullshit. I ask you - 'identity', 'dna' and 'box entries'.
I fear that you're right Redprintt However, should we lose at home to Barnsley, a team that are showing some real improvement over recent weeks, it might still get interesting.
