    Nice

  2. I am more than willing to admit that I know absolutely nothing about him.

My eldest is the one who knows something about him, as I freely stated.

Sometimes, I wish the wumming would stop.

I know you are being sardonic, Bruv, but that’s exactly how he will turn out.

Spurs thought they were getting Bruno Fernandes in the summer too <laugh>

Like a man buying his wife a Ferrari key ring for Christmas and her thinking there's a new £350k whip on the drive.

  9. You boys can laugh all you like.

Levy is shrewd. We’re taking the lad on a loan, with an option to buy, so if the Ferrari turns out to be a Lada, we send him back.

United, however, will be stuck with theirs.

I strongly suspect, however, that Mourhino knows his onions, and that the lad will turn out to be just what we need.

Use the noun shrew — at your own risk — to refer to a woman who is argumentative, nagging, and ill tempered. ... The word later came to be used to describe a nagging, ill-tempered woman, as in William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew.

Did you mean shrewd? I think you are bang on with shrew.

  11. You know full well what I mean.

Mourinho is craftily going about plugging the holes.

Its like leeds all over. Challenging for the title and then Dined on loads of loans because they ran out of money (in this case voluntarily by levy).

Mr Levy has a cunning plan to make himself a multi billionaire
Step 1 Starve Poch of funds until the team starts to fold and then sack Poch because of bad results
Step 2 Employ the worst manager possible without being too obvious, Maureen in, job done
Step 3 Get Spurs into the Championship ASAP, form a separate PLC for the football side of business and sell to the highest bidder as long as they can provide a ground share
Step 4 Bring in the NFL franchise he is having wet dreams about
Step 5 Sell the naming rights of the new NLF stadium to the Yanks

Utd signed the player that Levy was too tight fisted to shell out for mate.

You've got the bargain bin Fernandes instead

  16. If Levy thought he was worth the asking price, he wouldn’t have paid it.

Let’s be honest, this won’t be the first time that United have paid top dollar for a dud.

Pogba and Sanchez spring immediately to mind.

They didn't pay a penny for Sanchez.

I really wish you'd put some effort in sometimes mate.

  18. True.

But didn’t they triple the wages that you were paying him?

And he went from being one of the best players in the league to being an utter donkey.

    It’s what United do.

    That’s not really true though.

They paid Sanchez a £20m signing on fee, plus £10m to his agent. They also handed over Mkhitaryan in exchange who was worth £20m+.
