I was saying arl along that parky was the reet choice. However nee fooka listened Who is man enough to apologise for wanting him out? There are plenty of you on here who couldn't wait to stick the knife reet in
To be fair mate although he’s doing a good job now and his coaching/training is paying dividends you’ve got to admit he’s had some right **** results since he’s came in. I was one that didn’t want him here but he’s changing my thoughts on him but let’s see what he does in the next 3/4 games before we go ott with him. I’m hoping he can take us further and maybe just maybe he’s the right man for the job.
This is exactly what you were saying ... "Fast forward two months later and parky is playing hoofball and we can't string a pass together." ... are you man enough to apologise
I will own up to wanting Parkinson out and will have no problem eating humble pie if he gets us promoted. Interesting spelling, are you promoting a new dialect book by any chance?
Got to admit, while I never like to call for a manager to be sacked, it had reached the point where it was looking hopeless for Parkinson. It's looking like he's turned the ship around now though and that can be considered an excellent piece of managerial work, especially if he sustains it. Stewart Donald should be applauded for not giving in to the calls for his head too.
I figure that as long as I don't crow about it when I'm right or rip into people who turn out to be wrong I'm free to give my honest opinion on anything without feeling the need to eat humble pie. You don't get any medals for nobly keeping your mouth shut about an issue and then pointing out afterwards that you did so, I'd rather everyone just spoke their mind without fear of turning out to be wrong. Parkinson was bloody awful for a long enough time with no signs of recovery that I wanted him gone. It was the total lack of any promising signs that did it, there was nothing. Apparently he had a brain transplant or something because this team is unrecognisable from the crap he was churning out before. Happy days, looks like we've landed on our feet after all.
He had the opportunity to have a full pre season and get the squad fit and understanding what he wanted. Shame it was in the middle of the season but that was down to Ross
It was down to the wimp who cannot run our club, who undermined Ross with the 100 point edict, then got rid mid season, leaving the new man to take all the flack. Well done to Parky for turning the performances around
