Some people are too worried about tempting fate. Even in the 21st Century superstitions persist - as if any gods/demons/fate would give a toss about what happens in football.
On a less fanciful note, there's also the fear of losing face if you appear too arrogant and things do go tits up.

Even if we did lose five and they won all theirs, we'd still be 2pts ahead

 

Manchester United at home and Manchester city game away are tricky games for us, if we can win both, city have no chance of beating us to the title.

What incredible about the achievement, is that in the respective leagues the teams above are massively dominant. With only the exception of Barcelona having a credible year on year rival

 

Man City away will be interesting; al ther pressure will be on them, they simply MUST win. Anything else isn't good enough. Truth be told, even a win probably isn't going to a enough for them.

I think if we lose we might have a bit of a wobble but I've been thinking that for a while should we lose to anyone; there are a lot of people waiting for us to slip up and will 100% jump on it should we lose.

Which confirms what i have been saying about how **** our league has become, the bottom 12 teams are in -ve goal difference ffs.

 

I think we have learnt from our mistake of last season. Failure to get something at the Etihad cost us the league. Also we had too many draws last season

 

Our **** league populated the last seasons European major cup finals 100% and all four of its representatives in CL this season have progressed to R16. I would say at this moment it is the strongest league in Europe.

This does not show my team in a very good light at all so nothing in it for me.

 

I just picked a random year 10 years ago after a similar amount of games the league table looks very similar except for the team on tops total. So was that a **** year as well?
