I do believe the English press were in pursuit and hounding her at the time of her death.

Surely it`s the palaces they come to see not the freeloaders living in them (how much is it costing us to renovate Buck house) The only Royal residence in the top 50 European tourist destinations is Versailles, in France, a republic!

I’m just working off memory, Smug. Do you know which media agencies were chasing her at the time?

I know there’s question marks around the state of the driver at the time as he could have been drinking alcohol. They were being chased by the paps though.

IF none of them were British, it’s still reasonable to understand Harry’s distain for the press as a collective.

The palace is visited so often because the queen lives in it.. There's 1000s of stunning buildings in London. The tourists visit the palace because it's the home of the queen.

Just like people view the White House, because it's where the president of the USA operates from. Take the president out of it, and it's just another nice building.

Take the queen out of Buckingham palace, the building will still be nice, but the interest in it will drop dramatically, because it's lost its meaning.

Buckingham Palace had not been decorated since the Queen moved in sometime in the 1950's. The wealthiest woman in the world sat back and let the vast majority of it become filthy as she wanted the taxpayer to pay for a refurb rather than herself. Should I expect the taxpayer to pay for decorating my home as I don't fancy paying for paint.

Mrs Smug had this idea that Diana was murdered for some reason. So, on a trip home, I drive her into that tunnel at 60mph. She nearly **** herself and tbh so did i, it was scary. The car Diana was travelling in was doing far more than 60mph and an amoured limo which are terrible to handle.

There was no need for the car to be travelling that fast, through a busy city centre, in any case. The press had cameras, not machine guns.

Diana was a woman on a night out with her latest boyfriend while someone else was babysitting the kids ....

.... she died because her boyfriend was acting the big shot, to impress her, and asking the staff to break the law.

I've been in that position many times and it's a long long way from being funny.

I’m a bit of a nationalist, not a great deal, but in my eyes, he’s stabbed the Queen and his father in the back. Surely he should have have had the common decency to tell them, or speak to them, about what he was doing? I had a great deal of admiration for him, but that’s gone out the window now he’s scared of his bit actress.

Do you think he was getting his own back for how the Queen carried on when his mam died?

There’s a big question mark over that, that’s for sure.
I’m not going into too much detail, she might be reading.

Wasn't a lot of tourism in France or Germany when they still had royalty so a bit difficult to tell what effect it's had

I have no problem at all with him leaving whenever anybody left our company wether they told us or not I wished them the best of luck, you never knew one day you could be needing them and there is most likely a reason he’s leaving like that we don’t know about.

TBF there's nowhere in this country anything like as impressive as Versailles and it's grounds - not to mention their weather being better!
