We are not even the same ball park. And they got an FA cup win with that spend, they deserve some stick.
They are the only club to have gone into administration while in the Premiership AND it's the Skates. I'm not bitter.
From K Billy now: "Wouldnt get yourself over excited he isnt gonna be a well known or big name. Another youngster in for cover another danso like deal if it even happens." Sounds exciting.
Guan on Saintsweb has put up a cryptic clue of The Mitchell Brothers, and a Baker, as to who the incoming signing could be. Mitchel Bakker is a LB at PSG from Ajax. Hasn’t played a first team game for PSG. Agent is Mino Raiola. We’re dealing with the big boys now
Any idea if a loan or a permanent transfer? Seem a bit odd if permanent as PSG only just signed him and him only being 19
Hasn't played a first team game for anyone, heh. That would be a bit odd on a loan for both parties. You'd think they would want him to get consistent playing time, but he'd be a depth option here. And getting someone just as inexperienced as Vokins for a short period means that we don't really get a tonne out of it; best case, we help him get a bit of experience so that he can go be useful somewhere else next season.
It seems like he can play both right and left back so probably brought in to be backup for both positions. I wonder if there will be a buy clause on this one, it doesnt feel like there would be considering he was just signed by PSG in the summer with a 6 year contract. I would think they would be reluctant to let him go. Maybe PSG feel he will probably get a few games and his first taste of first team football ere as he will be backup to 2 fullbacks while also having first class training facilities here? Another factor is that he is used to pressing football.
Some supposedly ITK.......reckons Che will go to Leeds .....apparently we are holding out for a obligation to buy at end of loan ...........don’t/can’t believe it myself.
Would be surprised too. He shows flashes of being EPL standard and he is learning his craft at the highest level. Only reason l could think of is the club believe there are issues with his application, but not seen that when he has played.
If you read that article it suggest a 10 mil obligation to buy so overall with the loan fee it would work out to about £11mil. I would be furious if we let Che go for such a loss especially as he doesn’t look awful at all. He just needs a bit of luck to go his way
