    Yeah they're really cack, it's not like they won 8-0 recently...and they've been playing with Mascherano as a CB recently for god knows what reason (showing off?)

    Real Madrid are having a bit of a shocker though! Lost to Levante, drew to Racing Santander

    I read earlier that they play 3-4-3 now instead of the 4-3-3 they used to play?

    Might be why?

    their defence has always been weak if you can get at it
    as arsenal proved 1 attack and if bendner was a decent striker it would have been bye bye barca
    however they keep the ball so well they bring a new meaning to the best form of defence is a good offence

    Maybe because they spend 70 million on two players they didnt need and their squad only has two recognised centre halves?

    They sometimes play 3-4-3 because they keep the ball so well the defence doesnt need to do anything. Won recent with a back 3 of Abidal-Mascherano-Busquets.

    That really is insane. I mean, they're the best team in the world, with hundreds of thousands of supporters and masses of cash, and they STILL don't have a single reserve centre back!?

    I guess we are also a top flight team inexplicably without an out and out left back though! ;D

    Yes, and yet they have about 8 world class forwards and 8 world class midfielders, and then 5 natural defenders.

    They're crazy, 70 million in the kitty and instead of being even marginally sensible and looking at long term replacements for Puyol and Abidal, they sign a forward, Sanchez, (Messi-Villa-Pedro having amassed 98 goals last season) and Fabregas because they only have Iniesta, Xavi, Mascherano, Busquets, Thiago, Keita in midfield.

    they are getting too cocky, they're good but noone's good enough to play with no centre backs. If they played against a top team with that side they'd get destroyed

    Would be a very sensible and perfect buy for them, but I've only seen that on caughtoffside, and the fee quoted was 5.8 million so I wouldnt count on it.

    Lol. Barca have taken off Puyol and just replaced him with Thiago. They only have 1 out and out defender in Abidal. Unbelievable!
