Their form for most of 2019 was wretched under Poch, they ****ed it in the summer by not moving on those who wanted away, and they’ve ruined the dressing room as a result. There’s a rebuilding job to be done there now, whether Mourinho can do it, we’ll see, but the man is a serial winner and he’s made mugs out of many in the past. This is maybe his biggest challenge.
Aside from Norwich who are already doomed, I’m not sure I’d like to pick who goes down with them now. Watford look revitalised under the much underrated Pearson. I think West Ham will strengthen this month and will likely be fine under Moyes. Bournemouth look in free fall, but have goals in that squad, which will always give them a chance. Burnley are maybe hitting the skids at the wrong time, but they’re as tough as old boots under Dyche and you’d never bet against them in a battle. Which leaves who to go? Villa? Brighton? You lot?
Watford against Bournemouth tomorrow is a massive game for both teams, Bournemouth could kill off their revival a bit or be deep in the **** themselves. Not including us btw?
At least this season we can see Liverpool winning the league from a mile off. Last season would have meant so much more to their fans to win that incredible battle. Still, they all count.
I expect it's the difference between having your face burned off in a fire or from an acid attack for your lot mate.
Is right. I was hoping Ancelotti could have persuaded him to give us 6 months tbh. I’d have loved to have seen the bloke at our spot for half a season.
