I'm still far from happy with the decision to sack Peter Reid for two players unproven in the managerial stakes BUT whatever our reservations we have to get behind Fletcher and Larriou and hope and pray they come good because we seriously need them to succeed.

As far as I'm concerned this Saturday is D day, we need to be there in large numbers to show Fletch & Larriou that we are behind them. We need to show Brent that we care about the outcome of our club and we need to get behind and support the players. It also wouldn't be a bad move to chant some anti Ridsdale sentiments.

Hopefully there will be large numbers of other fans joining us, that would be brilliant for all involved with Argyle and will bring in extra revenue, we also need to show them that we care - how embarrasing would it be to have more of them turn up than greens.

Can't wait to be there for our first win of the season (ask brb) and to be part of the beginning of the end of PAFC's demise.

    Are you going DS?

DS going? The Geeman has told the whole world he won't be attending anymore and he's off to watch Premier League football. Wonder if he has suddenly become a Man City fan over the last couple of years? Nothing attracts him better than a bit of success.

I just thought Mrs Reid.........are you going to have to change your name..........Fletcher-all-about-it......or......Larrieu-all-about-it......hasn't quite got the same ring has it.

I do feel that Peter Reids time had come.............Fletcher and Larrieu,.......well could they be an inspired choice or could they just get caught up in their own desires for success and the pressures just drags them down.

It will be so important for them to start off with a win.......so they can build momentum and lift the gloom and the players spirits to perform to their abilities...........lets hope so.

If they fail to turn things around.........then a new owner will have to bring in a new man who has not been affected by months of wrangling.

What is obvious is how do you tell two men that maybe they are not succeeding enough to keep them in the job, and so lose face and still stay in the club, difficult ?

Are they not classed in a caretaker position though Plym? Risdales comments that the position could become permenant were particularly stupid even by his standards as now a new manager coming in will surely mean the departure of Fletch and Larrieu which I hadn´t considered before. Then again stupid or cunning like a fox I really cant tell when it comes to Risdale.

He is as cunning as the Devil mexijan - I think (putting the financial saving to one side) that Ridsdale wanted Fletcher and Ro to take the hotseats so there would be less talk of striking, since the younger players look to Fletcher and Ro for advice and they are hardly likely to suggest striking if they need to field a team the next day.

Just an opinion, I may be giving Ridsdale a bit too much credit...

I'm not sure how Fletcher would take being demoted back to the ranks.......it wouldn't be easy for him.

Larrieu on the other hand I feel would thank the powers that be for the opportunity and would be thankful for the experienced gained.

He loves Argyle and all that it means to him and his family and would be available in any capacity to help the cause.

Never under estimate the devil. He is a manipulator of the first order and will always have an excuse close to hand. Credit where credit is due he is a very clever man.

One thing that stood out in Fletcher's statement on taking over for me was a bit of an eyebrow raiser. He said that the older you get the more mature you become in football. This is the man who was sent off last Saturday for grabbing one of the opposition by the throat. Hmmmmm!!!! Matured well then.

You are beginning to sound like a tart now Mrs Reid. I sort of expect that from your sidekick (Gat) but had thought better of you. You will be going on about tight shorts soon.

Who does this describe to a tee ?

The psychopath is one of the most fascinating and distressing problems of human experience. For the most part, a psychopath never remains attached to anyone or anything. They live a "predatory" lifestyle. They feel little or no regret, and little or no remorse - except when they are caught. They need relationships, but see people as obstacles to overcome and be eliminated. If not, they see people in terms of how they can be used. They use people for stimulation, to build their self-esteem and they invariably value people in terms of their material value (money, property, etc..).

A psychopath can have high verbal intelligence, but they typically lack "emotional intelligence". They can be expert in manipulating others by playing to their emotions. There is a shallow quality to the emotional aspect of their stories (i.e., how they felt, why they felt that way, or how others may have felt and why). The lack of emotional intelligence is the first good sign you may be dealing with a psychopath. A history of criminal behavior in which they do not seem to learn from their experience, but merely think about ways to not get caught is the second best sign.

I have been pondering on the new name, haven't thought of anything original yet. One of the other mods suggested "pissed-off-about-it which is pretty apt or even "Riddler-knows sod-all-about it" but there you go. To be fair I am pretty pissed off about it - still.
