Sod this. Couldn't even get on the Charlton train. Line-up as expected, except Dempsey in for Morgan.

Welcome back Jonny Williams. A satisfying point against a cynical WBA team.

    FT 2-2.

An enjoyable, end to end game and a deserved point. West Brom were a dirty and cynical side, albeit slick on the counter attack. We shot ourselves in the foot as per usual, with two very soft goals (mistakes by Lockyer and Sarr). Great to see young Josh Davison score, although I thought Jennings was anonymous and should not have started. Gallagher and Pratley excellent, and at least three experienced players got minutes in the second half. You can’t fault the effort & team spirit, but we badly need signings.

The crowd was abysmal given the occasion ....19,700. We have got some real tight arses amongst our fan base.

Most horrible sight of the day wasn’t even our defending ...it was this ...

Lockyer neglecting his defensive duties to have a grapple should have led to West Brom scoring, fortunately the guy did not have a right foot and put it on his left.

Our first goal came after their fans kept the ball, our second came after a crude foul on Jonny Williams, which was quite pleasing.

For 5 years on two forums (not this one) all we have heard is “I’ll be back the day Duchatelet f*cks off”

Today - 16,000 Charlton fans in the ground.

    Pathetic.

It was clear a week ago and again today that Davison is a better player than Hemed. Doughty is better than Purrington too. That's the silver lining to the injury crisis.

Excellent hardworking display by a depleted team. Davison was very good ploughing a lone furrow upfront. Everyone gave 100 per cent against a cynical West Brom team.

Yes I was disappointed at how empty some parts of the ground were.

Darren Pratley has a good game today. So did Gallagher, as per usual.

Purrington & Solly are clearly on borrowed time.

Solly should retire with honour this summer, and hopefully will get a coaching position with one of the youth teams. Gallagher put in a good shift but is a better player when Cullen plays. There was a touch of Don Revie's Leeds about this West Brom team, and the ref lost control of the game, despite dishing out several yellows.

There was a two footed tackle on Green that was disgusting. Missed by the ref and Lino. Definitely a red card, how the Lino didn't see it I don't know.
