Sorry mate but the rules say that if you make a sliding tackle and endanger the safety of the player its a red ... if you slide in you run the risk if a straight red. Do we need to see a career end for people to understand the importance if this rule?

It was accidental but it doesn't have to be on purpose for it to be a red does it? He's got no chance appealing it imo.
Only just seen the highlights as I was out earlier. It was accidental on Aubameyang's behalf but I think it probably was a red as it was dangerous.
Not sure how an appeal would stand on that ? It certainly wasn't intentionally endangering another player, it was just mistimed.
